Testimonials
"I had James and his team waterproof my lowest level (we live on a hill) which involved some crawlspace and storage areas. The plan seemed complex to me but James stated it was standard to them. All work was finished as planned and in a reasonable time frame. The finished product was very well done to my eyes, cleanup was excellent and they left our house looking as though they had never been there, except for the previously flooded areas. Those looked like a hazmat cleanup team had been through. Pristine!
Well done James and crew."

"In a house we recently purchased we have a “crawlspace from hell” (aren’t they all?) comprising some 4,000 square feet that has had some moisture issues. It’s hard to find anybody who really knows how to mitigate crawlspace issues, but somehow I found James Clifton. Let me tell you, this guy is the crawlspace whisperer!
At our first meeting he spent a good two hours examining the space and explaining what he found and explained in great detail how he would go about mitigating it. I’m not some guy that fell off a turnip truck, and I had my BS detector up and running, but what he said made total sense. I decided to go ahead with the work.
He was able to start within a couple weeks, and his crews showed up on time and were conscientious and clean. I won’t go into detail but there were a LOT of moving parts and they were very meticulous and did not cut corners. (I personally went into the crawlspace a few times to observe the work.) I was very pleased with the end result. This was HARD work, well-done.
This was not an inexpensive project, but knowledge and quality are worth it. Everything, right down to the electronic invoicing and communication, was done right. How often do you get to say that these days?
Whether it’s for your crawlspace or another project, this is the guy you want to hire."

"I was waiting to write this review untill the first big rain. James’s team fixed our flooding garage level. Work was completed quickly, reasonably priced, and most importantly it fixed our flooding issue. Thank you!"

"The professionalism and courtesy extended to me by everyone involved in the project was top level. They explained the work in terms that I could understand and were always friendly and on time. David was the team leader on my project. He was knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. I feel confident that the work was done to perfection and that I no longer will have to worry about the crawlspace under the house. Great people, friendly staff, honest and reliable company. I would recommend them over and over again!"
- Sandra Kurtz
"For years my garage flooded every time it rained. Finally, I said enough and contacted James Clifton. Thanks to Charles and his team my garage is now guaranteed flood proof. I am happy and worry free. Bring on the rain!"

"James and his team are awesome! I had a huge challenge for them with my grandparents home and they pulled through brilliantly with their work. There was seriously like TONS of junk, total junk and heavy old furniture and building materials and you name it, including the kitchen sink and beyond all coming out of my grandma's closet where the entrance to the attic was...yes, this is where it was stored, second story bedroom, thankfully we had a balcony deck off the bedroom to launch the junk to the ground.
All James's team members could easily decipher the difference of what we wanted to go through and carried all the way down stairs for us to rifle through versus total junk.
This had be to the the Mary Poppins attic version of her bag, the junk just kept coming out (Pictures here don't jfully represent the level of junk that came out). Finally once they got it emptied, it was stripped of all the old nasty insulation and debris along with 45 year old cartboard tubes and toxic insulation matierials out to install all new blown in insulation and finish the attic with more covered spaces to use in the future. I've told Grandma, no more junk, only things and clean storage boxes from here on out.
I would highly recommend and hire James and his team again for their skills, expertise, and ease to work with again for more projects we have in store. Grandma can finally enjoy the heat again upstairs as she has all new heating ducts and a well insulated roof. Oh one last thing, my grandma has terrible OCD, she'll focus only on the mess that comes with these jobs, despite 45 years of dust, dirt, and toxic insulation, James Clifton's team members were outstanding at covering everything in her bedroom during the work and left her closet (attic above) cleaner than it was when they arrived. Thank you all again, worth the peace of mind knowing there are contractors out there that can handle the most impossible tasks and leave the job spotless and ready to enjoy. Bravo! See photos, I should have teken more, this is only representing about a 1/3 of what came out. Attic hoarders could be a real show."

"James and his team are fantastic! After our recent basement flood, he responded immediately and walked us through all of our options and pricing. His team was back and drying out the space early the next morning so that the potential damage could be halted, and they did not pull their equipment until we were comfortable. The flood was an incredibly stressful event, but James and his team did a great job of talking us through everything and making a terrible situation better. The prices were great and his crew were lovely to work with. Highly recommend!"

"I needed a large 2nd story deck replaced with a smaller one. I wanted the stairs to the patio area to include a landing. I asked 6 contractors to give me estimates. Only James Clifton gave me sketches, a fair estimate, a schedule and a work plan that gave me confidence. I wanted the project to be appropriately permitted with the city. He worked with the city to get the required engineering drawings and permits. James offered multiple choices on design and materials. He handled all aspects of the project including concrete footings and reinforcing the wall of the house. His crew was courteous and professional. Their work was excellent and my deck is beautiful. It is built to last. James Clifton and his crew did a great job at a fair price. I would use them again. Highly recommended."

"When the rains came in Santa Barbara, I had a leak at the top of my shed that I had made years ago. I couldn't get anyone to put on new top for months, even though some said they would. I finally found James Clifton fix a house next door, and he not only said he would, no problem. It was done a week later. The Best!"
